About the Role:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing most aspects of the supply
chain and logistics operations within PopUp Bagels. This role ensures the efficient and
cost-effective distribution of products while maintaining high standards of food safety and
quality. The Logistics Manager will collaborate with various departments to optimize processes,
improve delivery performance, and support the company’s strategic objectives. Essentially
develop and implement cost efficient, effective, high touch delivery systems to move frozen,
refrigerated and dry products to the company’s stores on time and in excellent condition.

You Will:

● Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies
to optimize the flow of goods from the company’s manufacturing locations to franchised
and company owned stores.
● Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels,
reduce waste, and minimize costs. This will include storage at external and internal
warehouses. It is expected that this position will recommend and begin implementing a
warehouse management system in the first 100 days.
● Transportation Management: Develops the transportation backbone for the distribution
of products, ensuring timely and safe delivery to our stores. This will include leveraging
and expanding the existing network and developing new networks around the country.
● Warehouse Operations: Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage,
and shipping of goods, to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
● Internal Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing and
stores to ensure reliable delivery of raw materials and finished products.
● Cost Management: Monitor and control logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost
savings and efficiency improvements.

● Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and
standards, including food safety and transportation regulations. Safe fleet operation is an
essential part of this position.
● Continuous Improvement: Our business is growing rapidly and our methods of
transporting our materials will evolve rapidly over this period of growth.
● Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs),
identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and determine and maintain store
satisfaction with the delivery process.
● Crisis Management: Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential
disruptions in the supply chain.

Working Conditions
● The role may require occasional travel to suppliers, distribution centers, and other
company locations. Onsite presence is required due to the nature of this role.
● Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strict adherence to
safety, service and quality standards.

You Have:

You Have
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business
Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
● Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain
management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the food manufacturing
and/or food hospitality industry.
● Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of logistics principles, JIT supply chain management,
and industry best practices.
● Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent
communication and leadership abilities. Proficiency in logistics management software
and tools.
● Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional
(CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are highly desirable.
